About Our Site

StainExpert was formed to offer a unique reference point on stain removal and treatment.

StainExpert was formed in response to the concern that there was no single comprehensive UK resource for a common problem affecting us all: stains! Who hasn't tried in vain to remove a stain?

Who hasn't panicked as they watched a stain or spill rapidly spoil a favourite outfit or expensive carpeting? Or sighed in frustration as they unfolded yellowed linen, scrubbed in vain at ugly stains in the bathroom or stared in despair at a wall covered in childish crayon scrawls?

StainExpert provides information on stain removal and treatment, with interesting features providing a greater understanding of stains, their occurrence, causes and treatment.

We give you tips to get rid of even the most troublesome problems and cover all types if stains, from common household stains like coffee, wine and sauces to outdoor stains like grass, oil and mud.

A section devoted to kid's stains will help you cope with any 'creative accidents' from the little ones and another section on stains from chemicals helps you deal with slip-ups with products such as make-up, deodorant and cleaning products.

The Laundry Questions sections tackles common queries on how to wash stains and another one on General Stain tips provide information on diverse topics such as "environmentally-friendly stain removal" and what to do in a "stain emergency". There is even a section on how to deal with dreaded pet stains!

Our concern was that there was no single UK resource for interesting features and practical advice on this subject.

Our features and articles are written by experts - who have experience, or a particular interest in this area.
